Deviation Actions
Something I saw on Tumblr upset me today. A girl was complaining that the new villain in Walt Disney's Frozen is similar to the villain in Wreck-It Ralph by looks and voice actor. She implied that this was a cop-out on Disney's part and proceeded to be sarcastic about the whole thing. Several Disney fans decided to reply with images of previous voice actors that Disney used in several movies, many of which also had similar looking characters. I'll be the first to admit that the reaction was frustrated and offended (as I was myself) but there was no bullying involved with the whole thing as far as I could tell. The girl deleted her Tumblr and several other Tumblr users (including the girl's "BFF") decided to retaliate against the Disney fans by calling them bullies and evil and cruel people.
I found this to be very hypocritical and uncalled for. The Disney fans were not intending to hurt the girl in any way, just point out that this isn't the first time Disney has done something like this in their years and years of existence. If the girl had just done some prior research on the subject she was trying to complain about (or just not be so sarcastic and snide about the whole thing), the whole thing wouldn't have happened. At least that's my opinion. I didn't know the girl so I can't say much.
Anyway, I'd like to end this little rant with a message I made up myself.
"It's okay to have an opinion. It's also okay for someone disagree with your opinion. It's also okay for someone to disagree with your opinion and provide several examples as evidence as to WHY they disagree with your opinion. Disagreeing opinions does not make one a bully unless harm or malice are intended."
Long time, no talk
I know it's been a long time. Many of you no longer care about my contribution to this site. I do plan on using it in the future... somehow.

I am not dead
I am not dead! I am still on this planet. I've returned from Disney World where I worked at the Electric Umbrella in EPCOT. I've also changed my major to biology with a minor in English and have been taking science classes that require much of my attention. I have some things planned for my epic return to DeviantART but my creativity is seriously lacking in this field. My focus right now is on works I wish to publish professionally. Those works will probably not be sent here as recent events through fanfiction.net have frightened me out of putting anything serious on the internet. However, I have a little project running through my head that
Time to get to work
I passed all my classes this semester with one B and the rest being A's. Woo! Finals being over, is such a huge relief. Now I have a little time to get some personal stuff out of the way before heading off to Florida for the Disney College Program. I'm gonna try to relax, read some books (for myself, not for class!), write a shit-ton and goof off a little. I'm super excited about February, though, not just for the DCP but also for the possibility of meeting my favorite deviantART artist,
Acceptance
As of today I have been accepted for the Disney College Program in Walt Disney World for the Spring Advantage 2015 program! I'm so excited but there's still a lot to do. Sorry for not uploading, college is a busy busy place. I will update more eventually, but I am unclear when that will begin.
